Civil Services incentive for BPSC-UPSC Prelims Pass Outs candidates in bihar

Under the Chief Minister Nari Shakti Yojana, the Civil Services Incentive Scheme is being started by the Women and Child Development Corporation, Bihar. The state government has started this scheme to encourage the general category girl students to perform well in the Central Public Service Commission (UPSC) and State Public Service Commission (BPSC) examinations.

Under this, the state government will give financial assistance to those candidates who will qualify in the preliminary examination of UPSC and BPSC. The state government has approved this scheme for the year 2020 -2021. In this, women who have passed the Central Public Service Commission examinations held in 2021 can apply. Implementation of the scheme on behalf of Women and Child Development Corporation

Online applications will be accepted till December 3. The implementation of this scheme is being done by the Women and Child Development Corporation, Social Welfare Department. Harjot Kaur Mhara, Managing Director, Women and Child Development said that a candidate who clears the UPSC preliminary examination will be given financial assistance of Rs 1,00,000. 50,000 will be given to the candidate who will pass the BPSC exam.

This money will be given to the candidate in a lump sum so that he does not face any problem in preparing for the main examination. The government will send the entire money directly to the candidate’s bank account through DBT. This amount will be given to those women candidates who have not received any financial assistance or grant under the similar civil service incentive scheme of the state government.

The benefit of the scheme is only for the women of Bihar.

To take advantage of the scheme, the necessary eligibility is to be a resident of Bihar. The applicant must be a female from the general category and must have passed the preliminary examination of UPSC and BPSC. In order to apply in this, proof of address of the applicant, proof of identity is necessary. Along with this, it is also necessary for the applicant to have his own bank account and Aadhaar.
