SBI CBO Recruitment Notification 2021:-The State Bank of India (SBI) has released an SBI CBO recruitment 2021 notification to recruit 1226 Circle Based Officers (CBO) in different offices of SBI across India. The selection will be based on the performance of a candidate in an Online Test and Interview. The online registration process for SBI CBO 2021 has been started from 09th December 2021 and is going to be active till 29th December 2021.Eligible candidates, who aspire to join State Bank of India as an Officer, are required to register on-line after carefully reading the advertisement regarding the selection process, eligibility criteria, online registration processes, payment of prescribed application fee, issuance of call letters, process & pattern of examination/ interview etc. and ensure that they fulfil the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.

Eligiblity Criteria:-
Essential Academic Qualifications:-
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government.
Note:
The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/ Institute. In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University/ Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/ Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing.

Selection Process:-

1.Online Written Test:
Online written test will consist of Objective Tests for 120 marks and Descriptive Test for 50
marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the
Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.

(i) Objective Test: The duration of objective test is 2 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of
total 120 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of
English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks.

Merit list will be drawn State wise and Category wise on the basis of the aggregate marks
scored in Online Written Test. There will be no sectional qualifying marks. Candidates
numbering up to 3 times (approx.) of the State wise and Category wise vacancies will be
shortlisted for Screening from the top of the merit list drawn on State wise and Category wise
subject to a candidate scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score, as decided by the
Bank.
Penalty for Wrong Answers:
There will be no penalty for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests.
Sectional Marks will not be maintained for Online Written Examination.

2.Interview:
Interview will consist of 50 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in
interview to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided
by the Bank.
